who we are

Max, son of Willy and Susana, brother to Alex. Born 1973 in Rome, fluent in Spanish not Italian. Enjoys romantic comedies (shush yes you know you do), french fries, and continually seeks to regain the former glory which came from being captain of his highschool water polo/swim teams.

Holly, born a 1976 bicentennial baby and raised in Southern California on roller skates by Sally and Jim, and occasionally her older sisters. Burns, never tans. Would prefer to be a professional hobbyist or “dabbler” by trade. Takes a lot of crap for enjoying the musical Xanadu. And Annie, and Bugsy Malone, and Grease 2.

Glad to hear that you crazy love birds are having a great time and made the special day all your own the way you wanted it to be.

You both look fabulous! Let’s get chocolate when you guys get back, that is if…I’m not squatting in a hospital delivering a you know what.

  2. Congratulations, Holly & Max!!!
We still don’t have your invitation (has to be here tomorrow!), but thanks for the link so we can vicariously celebrate with you. The pictures are wonderful…not to mention the commentary.
We wish you a lifetime of love and joy!
Can’t wait to see you in June.

All our love, Mom & Dad…aka Sal & Jim

  3. Lee and Stephanie

Brilliant! This is a much better way to go, wedding wise! I love it all, especially receiving the invite just hours after you’d said I do!!!! I’m so happy for you both and I can’t wait to congratulate you in person when you guys get back.

  4. It’s nice to see that one of my favorite couples in existence detests Gloria Estefan as much as I do! I couldn’t be happier for you guys (I’ll speak for Chris too) and have never seen more beautiful photos of a couple so in love. Thanks for sharing your elopement with us!

Don’t forget “Across The Universe”, as well. I love the Beatles and hearing them sung with a newer updated twist is both delightful and visually mesmerizing.

  6. What happened was, I got the idea in my head- and I could not get it out- that college was just one more dopey, inane place in the world dedicated to piling up treasure on earth and everything. ,
