an argument for lasik

While cleaning my contact lenses just now, I calculated how much of my life I have spent cleaning my contact lenses.

2 minutes every evening for 20 years = 14,600 minutes = 243.3 hours = just over 10 days

Had I been born with perfect vision, I could have finished Atlas Shrugged by now.

  1. Missing Atlas Shrugged: you missed out big time! Better to have worn glasses or have gone myopiclly blind.

  2. You’re still reading that book?

  3. haha I did the same I wore contacts since I was 13! And 20yrs later I was told I could not wear them no mo so my options were glasses or surgery, so I did PRK (because I was SO blind) and love my seeing life! I went back to the doc 2yrs later to kiss him hug him and give him a bottle of champagne for giving me NEW eyes! (He was in Argentina)
Do the surgery as soon as you are able! You will love your life w/no contacts!
